ZOOBIC SAFARI EXPERIENCE

Zoobic Safari is the ONLY Tiger Safari in the Philippines. Located in Subic Bay Freeport Zone (the former American Naval Base), it boasts of 11 unique attractions guaranteed to make one's visit a most thrilling and memorable one. A member of the Residence Inn Group, it started its operations in January, 2004 and since then it has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. Zoobic Safari is located in the heart of a 50-hectare heavily forested area called Ilanin Forest. Because of its location, the animals are viewed in a jungle setting that makes one's visit an adventure in a nature park. Please do not expect a traditional zoo setup where you passively view the animals in their cages. Be prepared for an interactive experience with the tigers, crocodiles, the ostriches, the bearcats, or even the baby goats and sheeps since you will not be able to pass up the rare chance to actually feed them or to observe them up close! Subic Zoo is a place you should never miss out. They offer different animals for you to see. There are some tigers and other animals which are considered exotic. There is a sanctuary for crocodiles and a place with many snakes. You can ride an enclosed jeep and see the tigers roaming about. This is the safari tour which costs three hundred ninety five pesos on a weekend and two hundred ninety five pesos on a weekday. One of the most popular among Subic Bay’s forest reserve, the Bat Kingdom houses various species of fruit bats, flying foxes, and bamboo bats. The former is the biggest variety. Although they are viewed from their sanctuary, you can always spot these creatures in flight from the Bat Highway. Stretching a total of 15 hectares, Zoobic Safari is composed of several sections. The Petting Zoo is located at the forest and houses various kinds of animals from deers, bearcats, horses, goats, and other varieties. The Serpentarium section is home to a wide array of snakes, and there is a pond nearby which is home to crocodiles. The Tiger Safari is the highlight of the trip and a guide will input valuable information as you look at the animals.
